Maru-dai
To the right is a picture of what a typical Maru-dai looks like without any threads or braiding started.  The next picture shows what it looks like with treads, with bobbins attached, and braiding being done.  In the near future I will be adding pictures of the maru-dai that I built out of scrap lumber from a building site and show a number of braids that I've done on it.
